FAQ
Q. What kind of vehicles do you offer?
A. We currently offer 15 Passenger Vans at this time.
Q. Where does my child wait for Pick-up?
A. We currently provide door to door service. In school, the pickups are usually in the bus loops. A representative will tell you if other wise.
Q. Must I call if my child is absent or goes home early?
A. Yes, please advise us via phone or text if your child will not be attending. Our operators check the rooster and spend time looking for children if they are not present. This delays our route if we are unaware they will not be present.
Q. If my child hasn't arrived at the time usually scheduled, do I call the driver?
A. Please refrain from calling drivers during operating hours. To begin with, drivers must not be on the phone while transporting children for safety reasons, IT'S THE LAW. Only call if you child is more than 25 minutes late than the usual schedule. There may be some days where complications have risen and changes to the route must be made to accommodate these last minute changes so that all the children may make it safely to their destination.
Q. Will the company call me to advise me if my child will be arriving later than usual?
A. At times that delays and setbacks occur, every moment is crucial. We unfortunately can not call every parent to advise of these situations as that will delay us even more if we would. For any comments or questions, please wait till the route is done.
Q. If necessary, may I call to request a change to my child's pick-up or drop-off?
A. Yes of course you may request a change. Any changes though must be made at least 24 hours in advance and never the same day as those would not be allowed. These will give us time to see if it is possible to change the route to accommodate you. There may be a difference in fare if the distance is further than the original location. But we always try to accommodate our client's request as we will be working closely during the year.
Q. What rates do you charge for your service?
A. Rates are calculated based on different factors such as distance and the type of service you will need, either one-way or round-trip. Our rates begin at $25.00 weekly and up based on the criteria.
Q. Are your rates prorated if my child misses a day or there is no school during that week.
A. Our rates our rated only as weekly rates and are not prorated if your child doesn't ride a day or there is no school. The exceptions will be the times that there is no school the ENTIRE week because of vacation. Thanksgiving week, Christmas and New Years week & Spring break are those exceptions. If your child must miss an entire week otherwise, 50% of the weekly fare is still to be collected. This is to ensure that your child will have service the following week as our space is limited and calls for new intakes are always coming in and at times rejected if we are booked. It is a first come first serve type of basis.
Q. Are you fully licensed and insured?
A. Yes, all vehicles have approved permitting throughout South Florida and the more than required minimal insurance.
